Jan/Feb update

Dear Family & Friends,

Jacob joins his parents to say a big thank you to all who continue to support us with your prayer and finances. March 1 will be Jacob's six month birthday and the months have flown by. We are so grateful to God for this precious gift of a healthy, growing boy who everyday fills our lives with joy and laughter. He is so receptive to us now that we feel like he understands everything we say to him although he still doesn't have the words to communicate with us.

We are so thankful for these past six months that have allowed us both the time and space needed to learn this new task in life that God has given to us. We are also thankful for the ministry opportunities God has provided Dan during this time with Bible teaching in local churches, book distribution and author tours with Kairos publishing, organizing for upcoming trips to Chiapas and of course keeping up our ministry updates at our blog (http://www.rocajem.blogspot.com/).

We continue to meet regularly with a group of young people here in Angelica's hometown in the state of Puebla about the vision of a "Jubilee Center." We continue to pray and dialogue together about the vision which has come to include everything from a coffeehouse to a learning center to a distribution warehouse of indigenous artisanry to a greenhouse and sheep farming. These last two we will hopefully launch during this month before Angelica and I return to Rocablanca in Oaxaca for a few months. We are praying for the finances to begin construction of the Center in the Fall when we return to Puebla.

We are learning again how to live by faith and depend on God each day for His provision and faithfulness in leading us toward the ministry that He has prepared for us. We are so thankful for each of you as you stand with us in this endeavor. Please remember that the doors are always open for visits as we say in Mexico, "Mi casa es tu casa!"

in Christ's love,

Dan, Angelica & Jacob
