Our Transition Year(s)

Dear Friends & Family,

It's that time of year to look back to give thanks to God for his guidance in our lives as a family. We knew 2008 would be a transition year for us but it actually started in 2007.

Jan. 2007: Angelica announced she was pregnant!!!

July 2007: Moved to Angelica's hometown in the state of Puebla to prepare for the birth.

Aug. 30, 2007: Jacob's birthday!!!

Sep.-Dec., 2007: Sharing our visions with family and university friends of two of our nieces.

Jan.-Mar., 2008: Discovering a common vision among all of us for a Jubilee Center.

Jan/Feb., 2008: book tour with Juan Stam in Puebla, Oaxaca & Chiapas and JEM board mtg.

Mar/Apr., 2008: mini Chiapas experience with some Rocablanca people.

Apr.-June, 2008: work at the clinic at Rocablanca.

July/Aug., 2008: JEM's annual adventure to Chiapas.

Oct/Nov., 2008: Anniversary of founding of Nuevo Ybeljoj, Chiapas and participation in 5th annual workshops on Social Psychology and Religion in Mexico City.

July-Dec., 2008: Laying the foundation for the Jubilee Center.

We knew something special was being prepared for us here in Puebla because of the involvement of two of our nieces together with some of their university friends in Chiapas over the past 4 years. In Spanish we have called this process of visioning to fulfillment our "3C process."

Conociendonos (sharing our visions)
Construyendo una vision (A Jubilee Center)
Cimentando la vision (laying the foundation)

We look forward to the work God has for us in the coming years building on these past two years of transition. Please pray with us for strength, perseverance and faithfulness for this vision.

May Christ be the Center of this holiday season!

Dan, Angelica & Jacob
